I wonder how/if his daughter will cover it this weekend. She usually just ignores news about her dad entirely.

Her show is pre-empted for a special on the looming government shutdown, but they said the show will be back tomorrow. :shrug:

Be real people the guy is cooked. Short of having giant burlap sacks of cash with dollar signs printed on it, it's hard to imagine a more open and shut case.

Even just on the surface, next to murder or rape, bribery especially in such a comical way as this, is about the worst crime any politician canbe accused of. That's what the GOP is trying to force Biden into being guilty of after all.

Menendez and wife enter not guilty plea to all charges

Sen. Bob Menendez and his wife Nadine have pleaded not guilty to all three counts they face as part of an alleged bribery conspiracy.

More than half of the Senate Democratic caucus has called on Menendez to resign, but the New Jersey senator has so far refused and maintained he is innocent.

Compare this to when Chris Cuomo got to interview his brother every night and tried to help him weather the scandals behind the scenes.

I didn't want to judge Junior either, though he has been handling this much worse.

Good of her to do this. I won't judge a daughter for the sins of her father.

Pay attention, Republicans. Menendez's jury at his trial will more likely than not be majority (or plurality) democratic voters, and he will likely be easily, unanimously convicted if the prosecution proves their case, despite the fact that many of them will belong to the same political party as him.

This is a concept called "putting your country ahead of your political party." I know this is a foreign concept to many of you, but the rule of law and holding even the most rich and powerful members of society responsible for breaking the law is not something we democrats only talk about when it's convenient for us, unlike trump, his criminal family, and his cult of sheep.

Edit: Also, I had no idea Alicia Menendez was his daughter. Wow.

Yeah, I was surprised when I learned that too.
