I've been waiting for this day for four years! I just wish it didn't have to take so long. Honestly, this closer than expected victory probably would have looked more impressive if it had happened all at once, or closer together at least. I know that increased turnout makes the counting take longer, but the legislatures in the big three prolonged the process with mail-ins being counted later for no good reason!

I'm over it though, this election has concluded and the American people chose correctly and put the country on the path for redemption (at least somewhat, the down-ballot races really upsetting.). It's also kind of frustrating that Democratic Presidents always get elected when they have to clean up a colossal mess that their predecessor leaves for them. Once again, that has happened here. I can't think of a worse job than than that. I expect that Biden is up for it though. He proved himself a lot this year, from his primary to actually pulling off the defeat of President Trump, which many were always skeptical about and was apparently a tougher task than imagined. I eagerly await January 20 when he and the first woman-of-color Vice President take over. I will then no longer have to think about Trump holding the reigns of power.

Now who wants to join me for some dancing on the graves of bellwethers Florida and Ohio!?
