Republicans can go f*** themselves. They constantly harp about Omar or Tlaib using antisemitic tropes and then use some themselves, as always it's a double standard. Do they really think this will make the vast majority of Jews, who already consistently vote Democratic, be more inclined to cross over? Jews see through this rhetoric. Republicans don't care about us, they only care about satisfying their evangelical dominionist base. If it wasn't a fantasy all along and Jesus were ever to return, they would stop even pretending to care.

If Donald Trump somehow actually does end up being the Messiah that the Jews have been waiting for, I expect a lot of people to turn in their graves to the point that it might reshape the Earth's geography.

I don't understand why the votes of 2% of the population are so important.

Because it's about keeping the evangelicals in line more than it is about marginally increasing his performance in New Jersey or New York.

I think Yair Rosenberg nails it:

"So is Trump a philo-Semite or an anti-Semite? The answer is both. The principle that explains his seemingly contradictory outlook toward Jews is simple: Trump believes all the anti-Semitic stereotypes about Jews. But he sees those traits as admirable.

To Trump, the belief that Jews are foreign interlopers who use their wealth to serve their own clannish interests is not a negative — as it is for traditional anti-Semites — but rather a positive. He wants Jews to be his attorneys and manage his money, so that he, too, can be rich...."

That's a very interesting perspective. It's more or less accurate. An example I recall is his comment about how he preferred Jews "counting his money" over black people.
