Ughhhh.

Ughhh is right. I hate him so much. He is probably my new least favorite Governor in the country, and he just took office. He's a perfect fit for the state that elected him.

Mike DeWine is now the new OH Governor.

He took the oath of office not on 1 Bible, but on a stack of 9 (!) Bibles ...

What the hell? Does that makes his oath nine times more meaningful? Is it to compensate for his height? Actually that's not fair of me to say, to my knowledge, I'm about the same height as him

Kemp sworn in as GA Governor:

Another well deserved "ughhh." Unlike Florida though, I actually figured Kemp was going to win all along so it wasn't as disappointing as when DeSantis won.

Unlike DeSantis,  I don't see Kemp triangulating at all.

That's quite the twist. Kemp was supposedly the somehow less extreme right nominee between he and Cagle in Georgia, in contrast to their personalities, at least from what I knew. Maybe the average Georgian Republican is just that far-right in general.

JB Pritzker is also sworn in as Illinois Governor now.

I threw up in my mouth. Have fun, Illinois.

They definitely had fun at the Inaugural Ball. Gov Pritzker footed the entire bill and gave the ticket sales to charity. He even sprung for Maroon 5 to play at the festivities.

I always felt that Prizker got a bit of undeserved hate...but this I totally understand. He is also the first Maroon 5 fan that I have ever heard of in existence.

Not really, because that isn't one individual paying for them to perform.

I'd be okay with that. Someone needs to, if just to wound him. Kasich and his useless ass seems to want to go the Independent route, so yeah, go Hogan!
