So what are the biggest races this election night? Any close ones?

Getting home before the thunderstorm.

No kidding! Here in New Jersey it was especially torrential. I wonder how it may have affected the eastern Pennsylvania results. It appears that turnout might not be so great. Though the storm did calm down significantly since like 6:00pm.

I didn't comment in this thread during yesterday's primaries but in seeing the results I am surprised at what an interesting night it ended up being. I thought for sure that the night would be dull.
For one thing it was a great night for female candidates, especially in Pennsylvania. Additionally it was kind of surprising for me to see Ashford lose the primary. He proved that perhaps, as a candidate, one needs more than just name recognition to win. I hope Eastman could pull off a win in NE-2, I think she has about the same chance as Ashford would have. Finally some of the losses were amusing. I am very glad to see  Labrador lose in Idaho, even if he would have made the race competitive I just love seeing a Freedom Caucus member humiliate themselves.  But double that amusement for Morganelli's loss. I am relieved that I wouldn't have to tolerate someone so far off from my principles being a member of my party's potential majority in a district that they would barely reflect. Rick Saccone though, he just can't catch a break. I almost feel bad. Almost.
Next week probably won't be as entertaining, but then again I said that about this week's contests too.

The Democratic Party is literally being taken over by women.

Good!
