I find this to be creepy, but I also find the equivalence you're trying to draw pretty flawed. You don't even need to stretch the premise before its wrinkles appear.

And the second part.. I can't recall anyone laughing at the reality of someone's genitals getting mutilated. I actually know someone in real life who was jailed for a period of time for stabbing her boyfriend's testicles after she came home to find him cheating. So I have weird personal anecdotal evidence that, from telling people this story, it's always been met with horror. Then again, I could just be a sh**t storyteller.

In any case, I don't share such a passion about circumcision as you seem to. I do find it morally wrong, but on the other hand.. meh.

To be fair the harm of female circumcision is much, much greater than male circumcision. But yeah, this shouldn't be a thing. And people ought to be horrified.

As I said, I do find male circumcision morally wrong. Long term consequences of female circumcision are still objectively worse.
