I can't help but notice that most of those who are so afraid to recognize the sacrifices that our forebears made have also exhibited exceedingly poor grammar in this thread. Kids, I suggest that you stick to your texting and your twittering and leave the discussion of mature topics to us adults.

Bravo to the GIs for defending our freedom and our way of life.


If you live in the United States and enjoy your freedom, thank a veteran.  They're the ones who fight for our freedom and our way of life.  Never forget that.

It is so weird how Americans tie their civic ideals to soldiers fighting in wars where none of those ideals are actually at stake. I really see zero connection for any war fought within the last sixty years.
