The Atlas has always been a pretty miserable experience. From a fortune cookie: Learn to polish your own turds, do not polish the turds of others. How shine they!

Ever since I started posting here people have lamented about the good ol' days. These ARE the good ol' days to someone else. Stop whining and try (and fail) to make good content. This place is fun and interesting if you want it to be.

Hey, I don't disagree with you that much. I, well, have a strong aversion to people being passively judgmental about things. I'm not entirely sure why that is, either. I suppose it's a pet peeve. Yes, your observations about forum culture and the current atmosphere aren't off base, and I certainly think that this thread's targets are treasures that I hate seeing picked on - but pointing out your distaste does nothing but satiate your desire to point it out. It's too easy, it feels. Acting contrarily takes effort.

That's not to say that you don't act differently, Marokai. I've noticed and enjoyed your posts in passing more often than not. I just like to pick at this genre of criticism. It's nothing personal and I don't covet any faces you might be making right now (those squinty eyed, frowny ones). I just prefer passively proactive efforts - rolling your eyes, decimating what you dislike, then strolling along without a care in the world. You know, walking away - without glancing back - at the explosion you triggered. You don't talk about why you caused the explosion or the devastation it caused, you just do it to set things right.

Christ, I think I just ended up on some kind of watch list.

Edit: Aw, you deleted your post Sad I'm keeping mine because explosions and it was fun to write.
