He wants to get someone to run against Trump in the 2020 primaries, and mentions Romney, Sasse, Mattis, Haley, and Kasich as people he could get behind. He met with Kasich a few weeks ago, which gave us this pic:
But he briefly floats the idea that maybe, just maybe, he would run if no one else is up for it:
I really hope Kristol runs, just so I can watch him get single digits against Trump in the Iowa Caucuses.
