Trump, for being more incompetent than DeSantis. Either one will become President, even if the Democrat wins in a landslide; there's nothing stopping a GOP House from certifying Trump as the winner no matter how much the Democrat wins by. Therefore, since I think DeSantis would be a more dangerous President than Trump, I'd rather it be Trump.
Perhaps an unpopular opinion among Dems, but I'd take DeSantis over Trump as president any day and in fact think he'd be one of the least bad presidents among the people who could actually win the GOP nomination. The problem is that he's also one of the most likely to win the general. FWIW my ideal 2024 opponent would be Tim Scott, who would be both a better president and less likely to win than DeSantis.
