S.19.2-17: C.O.N.F.E.D.E.R.A.T.E. Act [Final Vote]

This act is, quite frankly, abhorrent. I do not wish to disrespect the heritage of our great region. However, we must not forget what this flag represents. It represents those who betrayed our great nation. This act would disrespect the brave soldiers who sacrificed themselves to uphold the ideals that Atlasians hold dear. It would disrespect the myriad Africans who were enslaved. It blatantly disrespects our nation, and this must not be allowed.

I’d like to thank the Chamber for adopting the amendment, i think this is the right step, actually allowing the people to decide this will be perfect.
