I'm endorsing Cardin HARD. A Manning win would tie her around the necks of every Democrat in the nation, just like Moore would have for the GOP. Also, while her awareness of civil forfeiture as an issue is impressive, her position on destroying ICE is untenable, and she's be a reliable no vote on any compromise bill or any major piece of legislation that isn't pure enough for her. And on top of ALL THAT, she supports BDS, which in and of itself would be a dealbreaker for me.
I understand the appeal she has, and I wish her the best in life, but I really, really hope she doesn't end up anywhere near the Senate.
What's the appeal she has?
She would be far worse than Roy Moore would be for the GOP. Roy Moore is pretty mainstream for Republicans at this point. Manning is running against a tenured and respected incumbent. I don't find the situations comparable. Moore had a base. Manning doesn't.
