I should have known! This coming from the man who thought that Barack Obama would originally select Joe Biden, when that first predict a VP for McCain and Obama thread was created, only to change my mind at the last minute, and believe that Obama was going to select Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer.

Whilst Biden will bring experience to the Obama ticket, I'm not sure what else Biden will bring to the ticket, a part from occasionally being an aggravated 65 year old man from Delaware and making Delaware an even safer state.

BTW: I wonder how happy Happy Warrior was upon learning that Obama had selected Biden?

I like Biden, but I wouldn't have picked him. I wouldn't have picked a Senator, full stop.

Agreed. Especially one who's been a Washington Insider since 1973. If I was Barack Obama, I would have selected someone like Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana with an "outsider" image" to continue Obama's message of real "change".
