Agreed, however I have seen ones that are even more trippier (if indeed a word). The Hollies self titiled 1965 album anyone?

Easily one of Pink Floyd's best albums, perhaps even better than their 1973 smash hit album Dark Side of the Moon, however, of course, that is debatable. Perhaps I should create a thread about it! Grin

Definitely Bowie's best, and might I add whilst I'm at it one of the best albums of all time Grin

Keep On Loving You - REO Speedwagon

Damned TimeLife commmercials! Now I not only have the horrible voice of Kevin Cronin forever tormenting my puritan mind but also his horrible sense of fashion. Why, oh why did he have a horrendous mullett (even worse than Iva Davies in Electric Blue) combined with a pink suit?

My eyes must deceive me. Rocky!??!?!?!

Who would have thought that Kevin Cronin could work!

Yes Sensei, Rocky is back, rhetorical flourishes and all! Glad to see that somebody noticed that I disappeared for a prolonged period of time Tongue

Anywho, at the moment I'm listening to David Bowie's "Life On Mars". In my opinion one of Bowie's best, whereas the video on the other hand is not.

Paranoid Android - Radiohead

Is it me or does this song have a lot of similarities to The Beatles' Happiness Is A Warm Gun?

Which song of the 4 songs in there?

Not so much actual music of Paranoid Android but rather the format and the structure of the song in general, which, in comparison with Happiness is a Warm Gun, shares similar characteristics such as distinctive sections, with a change in lyrics, its musical structure, etc.

Great song, in my opinion the best off Led Zeppelin II.

I'm glad you think so! I've been thinking lately that long drum solos are greatly underutilized in rock music, so I love finding songs like Moby Dick that feature the drums so prominently.

If you think it sounds good on Led Zeppelin II you should get yourself a copy of Led Zeppelin's 2003 compilation How the West Was Won. Its a three-disc set of selected songs from their 1972 tour of North America, and John Bonham's performance on Moby Dick, lasting an incredible 19 minutes, 20 seconds is mindblowing.

Woman is the n of the World - John Lennon

In spite of Yoko Ono contributing to some of the songs on Sometime in New York City, incoherent nonsense and all, I actually don't mind it. Probably one of his better solo efforts, although Plastic Ono Band was his best by far. Now that should have won a Grammy for album of the year, not Double Fantasy.

Amidst ranting about Lennon's solo efforts, I'm now listening to:

Subterranean Homesick Blues - Bob Dylan
