It's so great to be back in the Granite State and I'm so happy that CNN has hosted this debate. I believe that America's best days are ahead of us. But in order to ensure that those days come, we need to start talking and listening to one another. I've spent my entire life working with anyone I can to get things done for this country, whether they're a Republican, Independent, or a Democrat. I'm running for President because we need to work together to fight the tough fights, overcome the obstacles, and move forward as a nation.

President Biden did a great thing by expanding our healthcare system to create a public option and it's helped millions of Americans across this country get the coverage that they deserve. Obviously, like any major government agency in its infancy, I think we need to continue to improve the public option. Let's expand the pool of coverage, work to keep premiums down, and make sure that the progress made over the last 3 years by President Biden doesn't get stopped. I was there in the Senate when the GOP attempted to rip away healthcare from millions of Americans and as President, I'll safeguard the healthcare system from attacks from Republicans.

Look, I think that all Americans agree that we should have a safe, secure border. I support increasing troops on the border, as well are adding fencing in some parts. As President, I want to know who's in our country and why. That's just common sense. We have to find a middle ground on immigration. Too often, the American people are given 2 options. One is that we have open borders and lenient laws. And the other is to have almost no immigration, making it hard for asylum seekers to come to our country. I want to make sure that we have a secure AND compassionate immigration system. Let's protect DACA, let's give pathways to citizenship, make sure that kids are kept with there families, and know who's in our country and why.

Joe Biden is a patriot, a public servant, and one of the most effective President's we've had in a long time. He has had some missteps, I admit, but overall the President has done an amazing job leading this country and moving us out of the "Trump era". I was honored when he tapped me as Attorney General and I would be honored to follow him as President.

I'm running for President to take this country back and make it work for the working person. I know that we have so much we can accomplish as a nation if we could stop the partisan bickering and rally around common goals and beliefs. I want to be President not for myself, but for you. I'm immensely proud of what I did as Attorney General to decriminalize marijuana. Not just as medical freedom, but as a way to expand justice to the hundreds of African Americans that were arrested every day because they possessed the drug. By decriminalizing it, we took a big step towards evening out the playing field in this country and helping restore the rights of thousands of Americans. And as President, I will legalize the substance across this country.

A senseless act of violence stripped these girls away from their families. All because of the hate and bigotry of the time.

Not only is it unsafe, but it's costly to Americans who have to fix their cars every time they hit a pothole.
