Jones
Justice for All

Campaign Schedule

July 1st

Quote
Over my career, I've worked with anyone, anywhere, anyhow to get stuff done. As District Attorney, as a US Senator, and as Attorney General of the United States. (Cheers) I know what justice looks like. For little black girls in a Church, I brought them justice. (Cheers) For women brave enough to speak out against their attacker. (Cheers) And for all Americans fighting to a fair chance in this country, I'm fighting for justice! (Cheers) And that's why I'm running for President of the United States! (CHEERS) So ya'll, this campaign will be long, and grueling, and hard. But it is our job, with every generation of Americans, to bend the moral arc of the universe a little closer towards justice. Let's get out there, let's fight hard, and let's win this nomination! Thank you!

That's a great question. I think it's so important that we work to fix the opioid crisis, especially in rural communities. New England and the couth have been fit the hardest and I think that's just wrong. But what not enough people realize is that these people don't need a jail cell, they need our help. (Cheers) Too many people are being judged and isolated because of this disease. As President, I'll make sure that we expand and invest in rural hospitals, hold the drug companies accountable, and get these people the help that they deserve! (Cheers)

Thank you Columbia! (Cheers) It's so great to be back in the Palmetto State and the first-in-the-south primary state! (Cheers) Look, we have our work cut out for us. But, I've never been more optimistic about the direction of this country. I'm running for President because I believe that our best days are still ahead! (Cheers) But, we need to start listening to one another. I believe that we need to be able to reach across the aisle, be bipartisan, and get stuff done. (Cheers) As President, I won't be afraid to work with Republicans, Independents, Democrats, you name it. I think we need to start seeing each other as fellow Americans, not enemies from opposing teams. (Cheers)

Doug
Jones
Justice for All

Endorsements:

Senator Jeanne Shaheen(D-NH)
Quote
I've known Doug for a long time and I know that he will fight for the people of New Hampshire and America. He got stuff done in Alabama, the US Senate along with me, and as Attorney General. Doug is committed to justice for ALL people.

Congressman Chris Pappas(D-NH)
Quote
Doug Jones is a tireless advocate for LGBTQ issues and I saw that up-close in Congress. Now, more than ever, we need Doug in office to protect all people's rights and to make sure that we have the values of rural America in the Oval Office.

Congresswoman Terri Sewell
Quote
I've known Doug for a long time and I was so excited when he ran for the Senate in 2017. We worked hard in Alabama to make sure that we had a decent man in that Senate seat and we proved to the rest of the world that our state has come a long way. Now, America has another chance to prove just how far we've come. Let's elect Doug!

Senator Joe Manchin(D-WV)
Quote
Doug and I will work with anyone to get things done for our states, from fighting the opioid epidemic to increased infrastructure funding. Doug has been a fantastic Attorney General and I voted for him enthusiastically for the position. Now, I want Doug in the Oval Office so we can have a President that can work across the aisle to fix the financial and social problems in this nation. We need a problem solver. We need Doug Jones.

Doug Jones Ad #1: "Leader"
Running in IA, NH, SC, MS, LA

Right now, more than ever, we need a President willing to stand up for what's right.

We need a leader willing to fight for the American people, not special interests.

The fighter, the leader, we need today is Doug Jones.

Doug has fought for American families his entire life, leading the way for justice to be served for 4 little girls years after a racially-charged bombing shook their church.

And working across the aisle, with leaders in both party's, to get stuff done in the US Senate and as Attorney General.

Now, we need Doug as President to fix the problems in America and to lead this country towards a better future.

A future with justice

For All.

Doug Jones Debate Answers

1.
Quote
It's so great to be back in the Granite State and I'm so happy that CNN has hosted this debate. I believe that America's best days are ahead of us. But in order to ensure that those days come, we need to start talking and listening to one another. I've spent my entire life working with anyone I can to get things done for this country, whether they're a Republican, Independent, or a Democrat. I'm running for President because we need to work together to fight the tough fights, overcome the obstacles, and move forward as a nation.

2.
Quote
President Biden did a great thing by expanding our healthcare system to create a public option and it's helped millions of Americans across this country get the coverage that they deserve. Obviously, like any major government agency in its infancy, I think we need to continue to improve the public option. Let's expand the pool of coverage, work to keep premiums down, and make sure that the progress made over the last 3 years by President Biden doesn't get stopped. I was there in the Senate when the GOP attempted to rip away healthcare from millions of Americans and as President, I'll safeguard the healthcare system from attacks from Republicans.

3.
Quote
Look, I think that all Americans agree that we should have a safe, secure border. I support increasing troops on the border, as well are adding fencing in some parts. As President, I want to know who's in our country and why. That's just common sense. We have to find a middle ground on immigration. Too often, the American people are given 2 options. One is that we have open borders and lenient laws. And the other is to have almost no immigration, making it hard for asylum seekers to come to our country. I want to make sure that we have a secure AND compassionate immigration system. Let's protect DACA, let's give pathways to citizenship, make sure that kids are kept with there families, and know who's in our country and why.

4.
Quote
Joe Biden is a patriot, a public servant, and one of the most effective President's we've had in a long time. He has had some missteps, I admit, but overall the President has done an amazing job leading this country and moving us out of the "Trump era". I was honored when he tapped me as Attorney General and I would be honored to follow him as President.

5.
Quote
I'll keep it civil, Anderson. Smiley

6.
Quote
I'm running for President to take this country back and make it work for the working person. I know that we have so much we can accomplish as a nation if we could stop the partisan bickering and rally around common goals and beliefs. I want to be President not for myself, but for you. The American people. Thank you.

7.
Quote
I'm immensely proud of what I did as Attorney General to decriminalize marijuana. Not just as medical freedom, but as a way to expand justice to the hundreds of African Americans that were arrested every day because they possessed the drug. By decriminalizing it, we took a big step towards evening out the playing field in this country and helping restore the rights of thousands of Americans. And as President, I will legalize the substance across this country.

Gun control is such an important issue. You know, I come from a gun owning state and Alabama has a long gun history. In a lot of America, like South Carolina and Alabama, it's not just something you have, owning a gun is a way of life. (Cheers) But, we have to be smart about it. In the Senate, I made sure to keep an open mind to both sides. I did that as Attorney General too. So ya'll, I make this pledge. As President, I'll expand background checks. (Cheers) I'll ban assault weapons. (Cheers) And I'll make sure that people on the terrorist watchlist can buy a gun! That's just common sense! (Cheers) Let's make sure that good people can get a gun if they want one and make sure that bad people can't get one ever. Trust me, I'm working to bring my "D" rating from the NRA down. (Laughs)

We need to get serious about this area of the country because as the coal jobs leave, people die or give up. We can't give up on them. (Cheers) As President, I'll invest in jobs and encourage economic growth in Appalachia. I'll make sure to invest in public education in the poorest communities, helping the next generation get a head start. Doug Jones Ad #2: "4 Little Girls"
Running in IA, NH, SC, GA, MS, AL, LA

On September 15th, 1963, 4 little girls lost their lives in the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama

A senseless act of violence stripped these girls away from their families. All because of the hate and bigotry of the time.

Doug Jones took on the task when very few other people would, prosecuting two of the men responsible and bringing justice to the families of the girls.

Doug stood up against hate and bigotry and got the job done.

As President, Doug will stand up for what's right and demand justice for every American.

Whether they're a Democrat or Republican

Rich or poor

Gay or straight

Or a little girl in a church

Jones Ad #4: "Expanding Oppurtunity"
Running in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina

(Jones narrates)

Quote
In the 21st century, technology and the internet are everywhere.

Quote
Having a connection anywhere and everywhere is not just a comfort, it's a necessity. But still, in many communities across America, people don't have a connection.

Quote
That's why I've put forward a plan to expand rural broadband to small communities across the nation.

Quote
Because now more than ever, rural America needs our help.

Quote
Let's expand internet connection to rural communities because when you expand access to the internet, you expand opportunity.

Quote
Let's help every American, no matter where they live, get ahead.

Jones Iowa Speech: Des Moines, IA

Quote
Thank you Iowa! (Cheers) Tonight is just the beginning of this movement! (Cheers) I am so immensely proud of this campaign and all the work we put into this state. Though we came up a little short of our goal, we put our all into this state and I couldn't be happier with the position we're in going forward. Now, it's off the New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada! Let's get Washington working again! (Cheers) America is coming back! (Cheers)

Doug and I really got to know each other in the Senate and our views on the world are very simliar. We both know the power of crossing over party lines and working together towards common goals. Doug is a proud advocate for LGBTQ rights, protecting people like me across this country. He believes in fighting the gun epidemic, fixing the immigration system, and bringing rural and urban America together again. I support Doug Jones for President because in the United States of America, we need a President who can unite us.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer

Quote
Doug Jones is the man we need to win this election. Doug knows how to win tough elections and 2024 will be a very tough election. We need a nominee who can speak to voters here in Michigan with respect and knows value in their communities. I believe that Doug is the candidate we need to unite the party and bring America together, across party, gender, and racial lines.

Governor Roy Cooper

Quote
I fully support Doug Jones because he can win up and down this country, from big cities to small towns. I know what it means to win as a Democrat in red America and if we're gonna keep the White House, we need a nominee who can win everywhere! I know that Doug Jones is the man for the moment and that he will bring Americans together behind common goals and collective beliefs. Doug's a fighter and the guy I want in the White House.

Congressman Joe Cunningham

Quote
Hello Charleston! (Cheers) What a great croud here today for out next President, Doug Jones! (Cheers) Doug is a Democrat from the south, just like me, and we know how to win everywhere and talk with anyone, uniting around common goals. I've known Doug for a long time and he is one of the hardest working people I know. As President, he will be a workhorse for America! (Cheers) We have made a lot of progress over the last 4 years, but we need another 4. President Biden has brought us out of the Trump era and now we need Doug to move us into the next great American era! (Cheers) An era where we are once again fellow Americans. not Democrats or Republicans. An era where we get stuff done! An era where America becomes united once again! (Cheers) So Charleston, I need you to unite around Doug and vote for him! He need us and we need him! (Cheers)

Jones Ad #6: "Fix The System"
Running in South Carolina, Nevada, All Super Tuesday States

Across the country, our children go to schools crumbling before their very eyes.

Too many of our kids don't have the right tools or teachers to help them succeed.

As President, Doug Jones will make fixing the education system a top priority.

For kids in rural America, fighting for enough teachers and internet access

To inner-city kids, faced with crime, addiction, and racism within their own classrooms

Let's invest in our kids

Because when we invest in them, we invest in our future.

Voting rights for every American are so important, especially in the south. Here in North Carolina, we've seen gerrymandering and election fraud. Your governor has done a great job cleaning it up but there is so much more work to be done. I believe that every vote should count and count equally. (Cheers) And one of the most harmful things to our democracy, I believe, is gerrymandering. As President, I will work to give every state a bipartisan committee to draw the districts to give every candidate and every message a fighting chance! Doug Jones Ad #7: "Justice For All"
Run Nationwide

Ingrained in our Constitution are the simple yet powerful words, "Justice for All"

Yet, over the course of our history, justice hasn't been for all but rather a small, powerful few.

But what makes America so unique and powerful is the pursuit of justice

And that with each passing generation, we come closer to true justice for every American.

Quote
I'm running for President because I know that America is still working towards justice for all Americans.

Quote
Too many people are left behind and left out of the conversation, ignored because of the color of their skin, who they love, or to whom they pray.

Quote
I'm working to fix that.

Quote
And to continue to bend the arc of the universe towards justice

Quote
For All.

Quote
I'm Doug Jones and I approve this message.

Education and "Leader" ads re-run in Louisiana, Kansas, Maine and the Rust Belt.
