That's gonna be a no from me dawg. Shame, but she fits into the Dukakis/Gore/Kerry/Hillary mold. Can't see her winning.

When Warren's focused on policy, she's fantastic. She's an excellent debater. But she flounders when addressing the whole Native American heritage thing, and she'll be bludgeoned with her insensitive and tone deaf handling of the issue both in the primary and the general elections.

To be honest, Clinton should have picked her for VP in 2016. 2017 and 2018 have not been good years for her personal image.

This is actually very true. Watch Kamala Harris's speech to the Human Rights Campaign in 2017, where she sounds boring and stiff. Then watch her address to Netroots Nation in 2018, where she's personable, cracking jokes that feel authentic, and energetic. The point being that with practice you can drastically improve your speech giving and campaigning abilities.

That said, I don't think Warren's bad at public speaking or the people part of campaigning?

So you'd rather vote based on someone's ancestry than their policies?
No, I’d prefer to vote for someone who doesn’t respond to every little criticism of them and then proceed to bungle that response. She should have just came clean with everything, apologized to the appropriate Native groups, and moved on. None of that DNA test bullcrap.

One way Trump can win re-election is by blowing his opponent’s dirty laundry out of proportion to create a false equivalency between his awful conduct and his opponent’s scandals (see: “but her emails”). The way Warren’s reacted to him trying to do this in the past gives me major pause. While claiming to be Native American on a bar exam is kinda a d¡ck move, it’s not the end of the world and she apologized for it. She should be forgiven because she’s pushing for policies that would benefit everyone including native Americans. I’m just afraid Trump will capitalize on this scandal effectively.
