I was reading an article from the Guardian about splits in Die Linke, and wanted to ask -
(https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2022/sep/19/germanys-die-linke-on-verge-of-split-over-sanctions-on-russia)

Does this pose the kind of existential threat to the party that it looks like on the surface (to this outsider at least) and inferred by the article? Or will they limp on?

That feels pretty significant. Apologies for focusing on a petty political point - but given the turmoil within the party over Russo-German relations, what is Die Linke expected to do in the vote?

United for/against, or a round of recriminations that leaves the party split over whether such a resolution is "necessary" or "too broad"/"too antagonistic"/some other form of Soviet apologism?
