Well played - especially for such a niche audience as the UK threads. First time I’ve ever shown up in one of these - and all my verbal tics are there. The nervy both-sidesism, the unionism, the hypotheticals, the weak snark, the persistent overuse of ‘ironic’. “I am quietly impressed by their courage” is so on-brand it stings.

I’ve always enjoyed this thread - but my only real idea to contribute to it has been a version of the “recently banned users” thread, set in 90s Northern Ireland after a tempban for Gerry Adams starring:
  • a jubilant Ian “Fuzzy Bear” Paisley for the DUP
  • with Punxsutawney Portrush Phil for the Alliance Party
  • BallymenaQuakerGirl and OldSchoolMonarchist for the UUP
  • Social_Democratic_and_LabourJersey for the SDLP
  • Don’t need to come up with a new username for Tony Blair - we already have a “DevoutCentrist” on this forum.
  • I assume Virginia would be Mo Mowlam, but I’m out of puns.

It all felt a tad niche - so I’ll probably just leave it at a bunch of bad forum username puns.
