This is for a TL I plan to do one day, though I'll need to work out all the kinks. Now, for the notes.

* - Was elected to the Senate in 2000 by defeating Former Governor Dianne Feinstein in a close race and was the Running Mate for the Republican Nominee in 2004 before running for President in 2008 and losing to Rice (Rice herself was convinced to run for Senate in Alabama in 1996 and run the Nomination and general election, though she wouldn't run for a third term in 2008)

**- Was also the Sec of State for the 1997-2005 Powell Administration and the 2005-2009 Dem Administration

***- Was Governor of New York from 1999-2009

****- Considered an Independent Presidential Bid in 2004 and 2008, but opted out in the end.

*****- Ran for President in 2004 and 2008 in the Republican Primaries but lost both times.

********- Ran for President and the R Nomination in both 2004 and 2008

*********- Corruption scandal and trial doesn't happen and he defeats Beshear in 2007 before he runs for President in 2008.

**********- Barely wins the 2002 and 2006 WI Gov Elections and was the Libertarian Presidential Nominee in 2004 and 2008.
