I think it may hurt her a little.

What?  Why would it?

Also, I was hoping we'd seen the last of the ridiculous '-gate' suffix.

You will never see the last of it.

Unless Hillary is also one of the clients, I doubt it.

You never know.

Yes that's nice.  Now are you going to actually try and justify your argument here, or simply leave everybody scratching their heads and trying to work out what the hell Spitzer's new scandal has to do with Hillary Clinton?

I don't have any secret information regarding the Clintons involvement but Hillary is the senator from New York and she has been a big supporter of his (at least in the public eye) despite his thuggish tatics in the past. I don't think there will be any major fallout but it could hurt her a little (and I doubt I'm the first person to have suggested this). She'll have to call on him to resign immediately.

yeah.  hillary should drop out of the race right now.  one of her supporters likes to have sex with high priced prostitutes.  this is obviously her fault.

ugh.  you obama supporters are trying way too hard.

you know the real sickening part?  95% of the democrats on here were absoultely drooling over spitzer 2 years ago.  in fact, i was ridiculed by many of those democrats for not being a spitzer fan.  now those same democrats are jumping ship.  actually they jumped ship way before hookergate.

i can appreciate loyalty, which it appears few people these days have.

who has that incompetent moron blagovich endorsed?

It never ends with you does it? I never cared much for Iraq war supporter Eliot Spitzer.

According to Wikipedia, the Senate Majority Leader, Republican Joseph Bruno, would become acting Lt. Governor.

This is why you shouldn't get your information from Wikipedia.

From the Colbert opener tonight:

"Clinton supporter Eliot Spitzer embroils Clinton campaign in prostitution scandal."

haha

Uh, I believe that's the case.

Every major news source I've heard from today has said that Paterson would be sworn in.

Oh, ok, that's nice. I'm pretty sure Zeus mentioned Bruno being Lt. Governor though.

Oh. Sorry. lol. I missed the Lt. for some reason. I still wouldn't really trust wikipedia for infromation though, especially regarding breaking news stories.

It regards the line of succession which was likely on Wiki before the news.

...and? Do you represent wikipedia or something?

I'm just defending it when it is reliable and in this case it was. The NY line of succession wiki article has nothing to do with today's news.  Tongue

Many of their old articles are messed up too though. I should know since messed some of them up personally.
