Bushie, why wouldn't you let Allison see your inner perv? We certainly all know he exists.

Good job, Bushie. Keep proving the forum wrong. Most of us are happy to be proved wrong.

If he had to miss church or work, I'm glad he missed church. Please don't call out of work tomorrow, Bushie.

Quick Bushie go get some Braum's in that belly and hit that project hard. You can finish it!

Braum's is to Bushie what spinach is to Popeye.

Did you get bacon cheeseburgers at both Braum's and Burger King?

He's got to be in his 70's, which I still don't consider to be old.

A hard truth: You won't even get close to your 70s unless you drop a lot of weight and keep it off.

We even started laughing at some of the corrections that the engineers sent back.

oh no.  this is an ominous sign.  remember when the family bushie were laughing over papa bushie's diabetes diagnosis?  it was a real knee-slapper.

That was a brilliant episode on so many levels.

As a longtime fan/reader/producer, I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop (especially considering some of the subtle foreshadowing going on here). I can't help it I guess.

Well, all I can say is bring your lunch.  You could be waiting a while!

I sure hope so, Bushie. I sure hope so.

I think he is thinking for himself ... at this stage, his supervisor's thoughts are quite critical to his continuing success. How often have we seen Jeff fool himself into thinking he's doing a stellar job when he was really on the chopping block? Now he's soliciting his supervisor's feedback with regularity in order to keep tabs on his job stability, and we're criticizing him for it?

Keep doing what you're doing, Jeff. A lot can always happen, but I think you're doing the right things so far and have more potential with this job than any other you've held for years.

Now ... who's ready for an Update shirt? I'm thinking "Your argument just got tinkled on" on the back!

That's simply amazing. It looks like Bushie got a special guest spot on Tom Goes to the Mayor!

Or maybe his head was inserted into the beginning of You Can't Do That on Television!

Despite a rocky start, this has been a pretty uplifting season of Update. I just hope he finds a new lady friend soon so he can forget about Kenya again.

Most people have more than four "failed" relationships in their past. It's not a big deal.

Of course, most people don't try to almost immediately marry any person that they get into a relationship with.

Most people have four failed relationships by high school graduation. If your feeling are still hurt about Allison, that's fair enough, but don't beat yourself up about having a few exes. They were just for practice anyway.

Although his emotions now explain what actually happened.  The fact that he's still sad and she didn't get upset makes it pretty clear that it was her who did the dumping, and likely not Bushie who brought it up.

I think we have established she dumped him. He posted about how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her mere minutes before and then deleted it and announced she and he had split.

What we know is he was too stiff and stoic with her and didn't show her any affection, so she left him.

Oh, I didn't see that.  Did he post that here or on Facebook?  I'm still not allowed to be his Facebook friend.

The post was on his Facebook after they had brunch at Dennys. Then he removed it and said they had split, and that she was fed up with him so he just dumped her. It sounded like they had a pretty bad brunch.

Hopefully the food was good at least. Although considering it was Denny's, I can't imagine that was the case.

My plans are really starting to take shape with the notion of being single for life.

What?! A confirmed bachelor? Are you gay?

He'll be sidejackin' it in the train room forever.

He's still showing up to work. That's a great thing. He must really at least be enjoying this more than the call centers and the various vacuum cleaner scams.

Putting work ahead of church. You're finally getting your priorities in order. Good man.

Don't get too wacky with those drawings though!

Currently on my television:  The first game of the FBS College Football Season 2014: a Sun Belt Conference match up featuring Abilene Christian vs. Georgia State on ESPNU.

Zzzzz. No Big Brother shows on tonight?
