"Don't let the Oklahoma wind knock this one out of your hands, your mom needs to retire." - Papa Bushie, Update's most noble character.

I think that's how the quote went anyway.

I already know what desk I will be working from.  It is the same desk that I interviewed at this afternoon.  The desk area looks big enough to bring in a bottle of Excedrin for my headaches and a bottle of Aleve for backaches and Tums for stomachaches.  I will also have Excedrin in the center console of my car, and of course, I have all three of those at home.  There should be no reason I should have to miss when I've got the medicine at all three locations to sustain me.  If I get a headache overnight, I will take Excedrin before I leave. If I get one at 10:00 am, I will take some Excedrin at work.  Same goes with backaches and stomachaches.  I'm not about to let a little ailment get to me.  I don't have to text Allison every night now, so I can go to bed whenever I want, so there will be no excuse for not getting enough sleep.

Eek. That texting all night thing got old huh?

It destroyed a relationship for me a few years back.  We just ALWAYS had to be texting each other.  It becomes tedious, and one can become resentful of the other.

Yeah, I've been there too actually.

11/hr in Oklahoma is pretty good

Yep, not too bad. I thought he'd be getting $7.25 an hour with the way he was talking about the pay he'll be taking home...

I think it's time to add a new lady in your life, Bushie. Onward toward the next fiancee!

I'm definitely wondering who gf #5 will be... maybe Allison can set you up with one of her friends?

We haven't heard from him in a while. I hope our dear friend isn't being escorted out of the building!

Nope, just got off late and it took a while to get home, eat dinner, and call my parents.

You'll live.

If Bushie blows this gig due to tummyaches, I'm gonna lose my cool.

Ugh, I'm worried. It sounds like Bushie is trying very hard to convince himself that he's doing well but his supervisor is already losing patience with him.

Bushie, you should have shown up to CADD school more often. You also shouldn't have blown off Russ Powers' final project.

I would think that when you're 5'7"/300 lbs. serious back pain is a part of everyday life.

Can't you have Mama Bushie buy you a better chair and then just bring it to work?

Mmm! Braums tomorrow? Do you still go to Eskimo Joe's or does that place hold too many memories of Allison?

I'm guessing that they're talking about that Big Brother thing that Bushie seems to obsessively watch?

Uh, Bushie, do you ever briefly relax while watching this Big Brother thing? Are there some attractive ladies on it?

To be clear, I never had any type of sexual releases with Allison.  In fact, she would tell you that my affection was very dull and bland.  I was always too shy and too inhibited to show her very much affection which partly contributed to our splitting up.

Bushie, were you actually attracted to Allison or just attracted to the idea of being in a relationship/marrying someone/living the so called American Dream?
