yesssss

What a great Christmas gift BRTD is giving the forum.

Hopefully this can hold us over until the return of The Update in February.

Episode 9 always gets pretty intense, before the subdued denouement episode 10. It's like Game of Thrones.

Well, depends which season you're talking about. Most of them have 12 or 13 episodes. Only the fifth season has 10.

Oh right. I'm dumb. But it still usually follows the "second to last episode is the action-packed climax while the last episode is picking up the pieces" sort of format.

Yeah, you're right. One exception might be the fourth season.

You must be thinking of something else or season 1's the exception because episode 10 was anything but subdued...

He didn't remember that the first season had 13 episodes.

Season premier of season 2 was kind of boring up until the end....whoa.

It's kind of a slow moving season compared to the one before it and especially the one after it. There are some major jaw-dropping moments though. Plus it's really, really funny at times.

Disagree, Brother Mouzone was corny as hell and Omar is only a little better. Later when *spoilers* they team up like the f***in' Wonder Twins smh

What? That was the best. Although I agree that Brother Muozone was kind of corny (especially in Season 2). Certainly not one of my favorite characters on the show. Not a big Ziggy fan either.

Omar Little was a god though. How do you watch The Wire and not love Omar?

To quote a certain fallen moderator "be patient".

I actually wasn't too crazy about that dogfighting episode because:
1) I hate dogfighting.
2) Cheese is an annoying character.

It only gets better from there.

I understand that you've been busy lately but I don't think I've ever heard of someone taking this much time to watch Season 3. I plowed right through that season.

The scene where Stringer tells Avon the truth about what happened to D'Angelo is one of my favorites of the series.
