I'm completely torn on how I want my prediction to go - I think I may go with Christie just because he's been ahead in more polls, but I honestly don't see NJ going for Christie.  My heart tells me Corzine.  My brain tells me Christie.

I'd trust your brain but the race is still way too close to feel very confident about either way. Corzine is still leading in a few polls too.

Oh - my confidence will definitely list it as a toss-up - no doubt about that.

Politico called it for Corzine.  FOX still hasn't, but I think it's over.

The Dem on FOX just said he doesn't think it'll be called for a while - I don't see how Corzine has a chance.

Look folks, the Democratic vote magnets of Essex and Hudson are almost in.  I really don't see where else Corzine makes up ground.

The only thing that could save him is if some magic happened in Salem, since none of that's come in yet, but still - all the media outlets have called it, and after 2000, they're a lot more careful in calling.  It's over.

Now, he's just gotta keep it under 50%, because I'd just be depressed if I didn't go 4/4 on my gubernatorial prediction score. Tongue

Republicans picked up a seat in a heavily Dem Gloucester-based district.

 Moriarty, Paul (i) Dem 27,554 26%
 DiCicco, Domenick GOP 26,761 25%
 Collins, William Dem 25,740 24%
 Lawrence, Eugene GOP 25,471 24%

What was with Gloucester going for the Republicans?
