Wouldn't it just be easier to say sales aren't permitted on Sunday?  Also, was that an amendment you offered?

As a conservative, I see no reason why sales shouldn't be allowed on Sunday.  And again, I ask, are you proposing an amendment to the bill?

Voting on the amendment is now closed.  The AYEs are 1, and the NAYs are 2, with 2 not voting.  The NAYs have it and the amendment is not agreed to.  Debate on the bill will now continue.
