Extreme right-winger with very poor spelling.

Haha - at first I thought you were responding to my post calling me an extreme right-winger with poor spelling.

I didn't directly post this since I thought I should respect his privacy [I thought he should be able to remove his public email address and not have it be reposted]... but yeah... I seriously only googled it because I wanted to know if his native language was something other than English or if he was 13 years old or something so I could know to back off on my criticisms.

but yeah, here's an advice for the kids:  use throwaway email addresses for things that are going to keep you from being hired in the future and don't use those email addresses for anything else.    BRTD if you're interested in a cute poll, you should ask if as a boss the respondents would ever hire someone if that was the one result from their email address on Google.

It is actually crazy how much people take the anon. of the internet for granted. A few years ago I was told to second interview someone.  Something about the guys email address gave me pause on his resume.  I think it was something transformers related... I quickly googled the address and then his name and found out he was a sex offender- he was a school teacher who was having some of his students j off on a webcam....Obviously I had HR cancel that 2nd interview.  I was actually kinda appalled that the people who interviewed before me did not do any due diligence.

I thought it was illeal not to hire somebody just because they're a felon.

yah srsly, it's not like you tell people why they weren't hired, no manager is going to feel comfortable making that sort of hiring decision, what if something happened to another one of your coworkers?  you'd blame yourself

and managers do judge you by your facebook pictures, your appearance, etc.  you should yell at your friends if they take pictures of you doing anything you shouldn't unless you know for sure you're going to be working low-key jobs later in life

/giving advice

Well, I realize that no manager is going to tell workers the real reason - but if word gets out, it can open you up to a lawsut.

Yo, Joe Republic out there!

Did you edit my post?

Quite the skilled detective, aren't we?

Wow, I normally side with the mods, but come on, Joe, that was inappropriate.

No, fantasizing about raping fat women is inappropriate.

Both are.
