Arrest them and denounce those responsible for fueling their paranoia (Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, Rush Limbaugh and the rest of the gang).

I'd agree with this - although hasn't Beck denounced the birthers?  And I honestly don't know what Limbaugh's said - I work during his show.

But I mean, what are you going to do?  SS takes a LOT of preventative measures.  It's not like Obama is the world's most unpopular President.  SS will deal with the threats, and I have faith in them to keep him safe.  If something does happen, you prosecute the crap out of everybody involved.

It's only a matter of time before some serious sh**t goes down.

And why is that?

Because many of your voters are anti-government activists; racist ideologues; fundamentalist Christians eagerly awaiting the "End Times"; gun-toting psychopaths; angry conspiracy theorists; and combinations of the above. In other words, we have a lot to fear from Sarah Palin's America.

Both parties have anti-goverment activists; racist idealogues; (not so much fundie Christians); gun-toting psycho's; angry conspiracy theorists (and the Ron Paul crazies and the FEMA campers are not what I'd consider Republicans - they're more Libertarian).

Because being anti-government makes one an evil moralfag? (facepalm)

I think he meant anti-government to the point of militant anarchist.

Calm down, Straha. Inks knew what I was getting at, even if he doesn't agree.

If there was one group in there that I would label as most likely to become militant on a large scale, it'd be anti-government people (militant anarchists).  Racists and fundie Christians can become militant, but it's often on a small scale.

And, in Torie's defense - I had no clue what towners were.

I'm not trying to be a doomsday messenger, but I do think we'll see a major act of domestic terrorism in the next five years.

Define "major".

30+ deaths.

In that case, I probably agree with you.  That would kinda be the average for how it's been recently in America.
