Article 2, Section 8 of the House Rules is amended to read as follows:

House Bills and Resolutions shall be enumerated as "HB" for House bills or "HR" for House resolutions, followed by a blank space, then two numbers seperated by a "-", with the first number being the number of the current session and the second increasing sequentially for each bill or resolution placed on the floor per each session.

This amendment changes the way House legislation is designated in way that is more readable.

I request unanimous consent to waive the minimum debate time requirement and start a final vote. Representatives have 24 hours for objections.
