Ca. 10 states already had their filing deadlines for Indy candidates in the General Election.

Which means Kanye won't be on the ballot for example in TX, NY, IN, NM or NC.

Many deadlines are coming up in July, but most in August and a handful in early September.

It would take some time to file with the FEC and gather 100.000s of signatures in the remaining 40 states, so he will definitely miss ballot access in at least 20 states ...

Yeah, that’s a logistical nightmare for a guy with no political advisers / machine behind him.

He’ll miss at least 20 states, even if he files with the FEC in the next days ...

The dude has 2 months to file as an Independent.

By September 8, filing deadlines in all states have passed and he could only run a write-in campaign.

So far, he's not filed for anything and several important states like FL are coming up next week.

It seems he missed the FL ballot, with the deadline today.

About 130.000 signatures would need to be handed in.

But he still has the chance to get on the ballot in 40 other states.

Independent candidate filing deadlines:




Red: filing deadline already passed (deadlines in FL, SC and OK are TODAY)

Green: filing deadline until July 31 (MI tomorrow)

Blue: filing deadline until August 31

Yellow: filing deadline in September (September 4th is the last date for several states)
