This New Year's night doesn't look all too bad so far, compared with last years night.

So far, Vienna police reported 3 cases of sexual attacks last night, Salzburg city police also 3 and in Innsbruck 3 women (Italian, German, Romanian) were attacked by a group of 5-6 "foreign looking men".

Police presence was pretty extreme though this year.

Apparently Innsbruck missed the memo:

Police in Austria are hunting for at least six men accused of "unprecedented" sexual assaults on New Year's Eve in the city of Innsbruck.

The men, described as Asian or north African, surrounded 18 women watching a firework display, kissing and groping them, police said.
