Given the strength of far-right parties there, would Romney have a shot in either Austria or Hungary?

Ehhh ... no. Not here.

In 2004 and 2008, all the polls by Austrian research institutes barely showed McCain breaking 10%, while Kerry and Obama were in the 60s and 70s.

Romney could get 15% here, but that's it. Actually I know many of my FPÖ- and ÖVP voting friends, family members and colleagues who back Obama over Romney.

Hungary could be a different story, but even there I doubt Romney breaks 30% ...
