Appreciate all the caring comments and well wishes. And BushOklahoma's prayers as well (certainly can't hurt) Smiley

My night has been cut short, I'm afraid. It's 5:44 am and I've only now been able to stop a new nosebleed that messed up pretty much everything in my bed, actually...and worst of all, woke me at about 5. Oh well, sleep is overrated.

The nosebleeds are seriously bothering me (and I speculate that loss of blood or something to do with blood pressure or something of that sort led to my collapse yesterday), but I have no idea what's causing them. I did notice they had only been around since I started taking Ibuprofen for 2 nights for flu symptoms, but I haven't had one since Saturday evening. Maybe it's just a coincidence, though. Anyone hear have any ideas what could be causing nosebleeds? I've had maybe 6 since Saturday. The hospital is not very good at actually giving me information. The nurses tell me to wait for the doctor, who should come by some time today...wonder if the private station might have been better after all Smiley

We shall see. Thanks again for all the kind words.

Hmm, I first thought that you had an epileptic seizure when I read the title ... Sad

I also had sudden nose bleeds a couple years ago but that had to do with dry air in office rooms with no air conditioning.

It can also be that you have high blood pressure or it comes from big stress.

I think it's best to chill out a couple days now and drink a lot of water.

What did the hospital people say about your condition ?

Well, anyway I hope you'll get better soon Smiley

I've been granted parole under the condition that I immediately see a nose/throat specialist to see what's causing the bleeding. Doctors found nothing out of the ordinary in my blood work to suggest any further collapse. Think it might have been too much stress (dunno what from, lol), too little to eat and drink in the last several days, which is possible, since I've had a rather bad cold/flu for a week or so now.

They're having me freed after lunch in a coupke of hours. No word about a parole officer yet.

Why are you in prison ? Did I miss anything in the last few days/weeks ?

Huh
