I don't know, is it just me or does it seem that all dams are breaking in recent hours? All the sanctions, a protest wave across the globe and the boycotts. I really wonder whether Putin expected this as well as the immense and brave resistance of Ukraine?

I'm glad the German government finally came along. Should have done so much earlier. We were delusional about Russia all too long, all political parties from left to right.

I'm sorry, but this is a comedic level of naivete, though it's becoming apparent this is characteristic of European thinking on foreign policy.

Even If Maiden was a Coup id still support it

The American Revolution was a French-backed regime change (not coup per se), and I still fervently support it. It is necessary, not merely acceptable, for revolutionary movements to rely on some level of foreign aid. Successful revolutions are successful at manipulating that aid rather than being manipulated by it.

There hasn't been a net change of more than 0.05% of Ukraine in a month since November. Ukraine's counter-offensive has averaged gains of 0.02% a month over the past 5 months. It'd take around 70 years to win back full control at that rate.

This pretty badly misses the mark—territorial change doesn't happen at a constant rate. How much territory changed control between 2015 and 2022, before Ukraine lost >15% in two months?
