Jesus. The past four years real has shown why electing someone like Trump is/was not surprising in hindsight. Everyone tried to play it nice and sound all intellectual by chalking it up to “economic anxiety” - which was always BS. The truth is this country is just flat out full of clowns and no one cares about anyone except themselves (from the younger folks delusionally dreaming of “revolution” to the Trumptards worshiping at the alter of a man who just openly hates hates hates the same things they do).
That's fine, because America is only an idea and therefore can't suffer materially.
