I'm not sure where this infatuation with national majorities comes from.

National majorities will be very important if the right to privacy is taken away by the courts.

Given the Republican majority in congress and a Republican president, a national ban is quite likely.

I strongly disagree.  There are a fair amount of moderate Republicans that would raise hell if it ever came to the floor.  The most likely scenario is that the issue would be decided state by state.

Well, I certainly hope you are right, but I see no reason to believe so, given the Religious Party stance on this issue.
