The Epoxies - "Please, Please"
Desireless - Voyage Voyage
The Epoxies - "My new world"

THE EPOXIES "My New World" LYRICS

I don't understand why everyone's so upset
About the way things are
I was born here and I love it here
And it seems to me we did ourselves a favor

Old people won't shut up about the 'Golden Age'
I've heard about your 'Golden Age'
And your generation lying nostalgia
Makes me tune right out

Blah Blah, I miss the stars
I heard they look like pinpricks
In a sheet of tin-foil
Hung in the window of a dark room (BIG DEAL!)

They say the sunsets never used to look like this
All blues and greens, they're beautiful
Admit it! They're beautiful.

It was never an apocalypse
It was our rebirth, our brave new world
And World War X gave us chips in the head
Which gave us an edge on the walking dead

I'm not afraid of the living dead
All you gotta do is shoot 'em in the head
They fall right down and let's admit
They were the walking dead a long time ago

You there! The writing on the wall
It's funny how you never talk about that at all
But, as you can see from a thousand miles a way
Exactly where we'd be today

With your peak-oil production
Your genetics disasters
Your net imitations going faster and faster
Your super-colliders ripping holes in space
Your virtual worlds that deny time and place

Well, I'm glad we're here
This is my home
That world destroyed deserves to be gone
It's beautiful place full of new possibilities
The camera's wiped clean for new realities

EDIT: Actually, speaking of Burial, you should check out his collaboration with Four Tet, Moth, which is pretty much the best song ever recorded.

Wouldn't go that far, but I really liked it a lot, thanks.

Sun City Girls - I Protect You From Me
Tuli Kupferberg  - When The Mode Of The Music Changes
Sun City Girls — Wild World Of Animals

I Protect You From Me -
I protect you from me...I know what I'm doing. If I didn't I'd be lying and we'd both be to blame for what you might do if I did the wrong deeds while I care for myself with the impressions I bring to the whole world in general and you in particular, when you see the deception I've formed in this song, most your theories and insights will be proven wrong. So listen, my friend, to the portrayal I give of my system of knowing your weakness and faults and take heed in the knowledge that we all can be prone to commit acts of thievery when we're hungry and homeless and more than the greedy with more than they need; more than that; just like people with children to feed. My impression is deceiving. I've robbed you of more than what you might find in an old grocery store. So you think that I've robbed you of more? Well, you're right. I've said little of that which you'd murder for. Of all the ideas that spring from your head, if you had no conscience, you'd soon want me dead. Therefore, contradict all that your conscience implies; for pleasure, for safety, for reason and lies and the pain that you feel when you reflect on it, has a coincidental reflection of death, and the seaweed that would twist around me and my soul, has no conscience to save you as we slowly roll to the bottom of that which is larger than this, for a method of reversing perspective no less. And now you can feel what it's like to be me . . . Take refuge in knowing that I protect you from me.

Thanks Mr. Glück.  By the way, Rejectamenta, could you tell me if you like this Shock Headed Peters?  Its a little bit 'heavy' though certainly not up to the standard you prefer.  I did like The Futilist and that Captain Foam one, definitely a new genre for me, though I like Krautirock.

I never heard about the Shock Headed Peters, but i must say that sounds very cool. I like it Smiley I don't want to hear it every day, but this remind me to the time I was young.

I'm awfully glad you like them - I only discovered them on youtube.  This is my favorite song by them (posted here before):
Shock Headed Peters - I, Bloodbrother Be (£4,000 Love Letter)

And a couple more songs to complete the format:
Ros Sereysothea - Ber ban rom noeng bong
Ros Sereysothea - Oh Snaeha! (Oh Love - with english translation)
