I live due west of my workplace.

Drive to work... sun's in my eyes.
Drive home from work... sun's in my eyes.

Sometimes I just want to end it all.

Who the heck would buy/rent a home west of their workplace - that's a simple rule of them: never live west of your workplace if you're on a standard drone's schedule.

My problem? Hmm.  I find it quite annoying to get my maid in.. feels weird to have a stranger in the house messing about with my belongings.

  • I'm a lonely romantic without a girlfriend in over three years; still a virgin and never been kissed.
  • What I want most in life is love but I just get rejected, cheated on, or eventually dumped.
  • No careers within my reach have much - in any - appeal to me; work is mostly a burden.
  • My dream job is being a poli sci prof. but I can't handle the stress of going back to uni for more degrees.
  • I'm poor but do not qualify for TANF, food stamps, or any subsidies for Obamacare's insurance mandate.

About these items, why not move to Thailand and teach here? You could teach English anyway, and you'd almost certainly get a girl soon enough.

  • My life is meaningless, insignificant, largely out of my power to control, and never free of worry and anxiety.

Well, this is true of all of us Redalgo.

This is only true in places where you don't have chaffeurs to drive you(public employees for most of us proles). Living east of your workplace usually means suffering from the worst of the industry excesses.

You're talking about prevailing winds and industrial smokes?  I shouldn't have thought there was any industry still belching its prosperity-inducing fumes in most American cities..

I had reached just the perfect state of full, wavy, professorial medium-length hair, when a special conference necessitated a haircut.  Alas, I couldn't find a fancy salon that had a male haicutter, and had to settle for a female.  My haircut ok, but to my mind subtley imperfect.
