That must be one damned expensive air-ticket.

That must be one damned expensive air-ticket.

they are using other people's money to pay for it.  so...no worries!

I wish I could do that Sad

I would like to pretend to be a preacher-man!

But you're all about other people paying for things you like.

Wink

Actually no - for the rich to 'pay' is merely to give back some of what they have which the poor have paid for, for them, by their toils.

Hang in there Bushie!  I just read through this and I'd like to interject: Don't listen to these naysayers, you have my complete sympathy (for everything except the religion and the getting-up-early/having-dinner-too-early perversion).

One of the biggest developments of season 7 is that Bushie is aware of how awful he can be, yet instead of repenting, he is telling Inks "yeah, I'm bad, tough sh*t!"

I fully expect he will find a lady now and become a pimp by the end of the season.

Oh I'm so excited by this!  Its like Breaking Bad!!

opebo what is your flow chart getting at?

Oh that flow chart was purportedly about 'human trafficking', but I just put it there because it was amusing.

Headache is sitting at a 1.5 at nearly 21:30.  I really think not eating had a lot to do with my headache.

I always get a headache if I don't eat.  Not eating is probably the single worst thing you can do to yourself.

I just don't like to read.  Millions of Americans don't like to read.  Nothing wrong with that, really.

Well, maybe not 'wrong', but its hardly likely to earn you the respect and regard of your fellows here, Bushie.  And as such - as much as I love to read - kudos to you for admitting such an execrable characteristic so openly.

Yeah, I don't see the Peace Corps taking on some overweight dude in Oklahoma with an e-degree in e-commerce who leeches off mom/dad and the Indians, who has never had a stable real job and who has a porn addiction.

You are quite right, the Peace Corps is for privileged rich kids.

And I was eligible for food stamps in college.  But I didn't take it, because I didn't actually need it, and I wanted to allow truly needy people to take advantage of the program.

Nonsense.  Food stamps are not a 'set amount' in the sense that if you take yours someone else will miss out.

Why can't Bushie apply for welfare and live off a welfare check for the rest of his life? At this point it's probably too late for him to 'do something with his life'.

Because he lives in a terrible country - he can't get any welfare, other than 3 months of food stamps.  Certainly nothing he could live upon.  His choices are living with/upon his parents, or a painful and ignominious demise under a bridge.

Especially as a single guy in Oklahoma with no children, Bushie really has no other choice but the Indian medicine man or death.

You know when you start to think about just how bad is the Bad Place (and Oklahoma being one of its worst parts), you have to give Bushie credit for being unfailingly polite and decent.  Really given the pressures of such a horrific society one would think he'd go off on a murderous spree.  But, he doesn't, he sits quietly and waits.

Waits for death, or waits to go on a murderous spree, or both?

Well, who can say?  I'd no doubt get in trouble if I expressed a preference.

Try just eating one sandwich, like a normal person.

If we're talking about the typical weak, thin, homemade sandwich - two slices of white bread, a couple of thin slices of ham and maybe one thin slice of Swiss cheese, with a little mustard and mayo, I'd probably eat two of those as well.  One is nothing.

Success breeds success.  Failure breeds failure.  It's not just a trend, it's quantum mechanics.

Good lord, what offensive nonsense.  You're completely duped, I'm afraid, HPJ.  BushOK can't do anything about his fate any more than any of us can.

Buy an elliptical or stationary bike, dude. Also, what about the Wii fitness game?

No room for either.  This is a single-wide mobile home.  I have no room.

Gym membership? Or do they not have those down there...?

I'll wager the nearest gym is a very long drive away from his locality, PK, and doubtless it would cost a lot of gas to drive there.

I drive about 15 minutes to the gym each way in addition to working 40 hours a week. Sometimes you just have to deal with crap if you want to get stuff done.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, particularly to the star of this thread.

Bushie have you thought about walking to you fast food/buffet restaurants instead of driving?  I'm guessing they are all about 1-2 miles away.

That's a strange guess.  I would guess them to be between 5 and 25 miles away for most trailer-dwellers in Oklahoma, particularly those with a home not in a 'trailer park' but freestanding on their own land.

Where I grew up the nearest chain fast food/buffet restaurants were 10-20 miles away.  Things are just terribly arranged in the Midwest.

There's a Braum's and McDonalds 2.5 miles away.  I can walk 1.5 miles, but I'm not up to 5 miles round trip, yet...  I've got a ways to go for that!

I see..  I imagined your location as being a bit more 'exurban' than apparently it is.

This is what 3 oz of fish, 3 oz of beef, and 3 oz of chicken looks like:

That's still a good amount for a meal.

Accompanied by a salad and/or a veggie, even one serving of white rice (1/2 cup, 160 calories) along with these sized meat/fish portions should make you comfortable.

What the heck?  Guys that's just totally unrealistic.  Nobody would be 'comfortable' eating like that, unless of course they ate every two hours.

Especially since they live in a mobile home. I don't know many who are well off living in mobile homes. I don't know anyone living in mobile homes period, but what's beside the point.

Yeah, for as much as he "knows" about severe weather, it's pretty odd that he was willing to defraud his parents for porn for years (among the other ways that he's defrauded them).  With all he's scammed out of them, who knows, they might be able to live somewhere that's not a death trap during severe storms.

Utter offensive drivel as always Inks (and no better than most commenters on this thread):

In fact he has merely eked out the barest necessities of life from his parents, not any great amount of money which could by any stretch of the imagine lead to paying for a house.

If you guys want to badger and criticize BushOK, please try to keep it realistic.  All this fantastic gobbledigook you spew just makes you seem manic rather than offering a real critique.

Applying this to his food intake - it sounds as if he's eating much less than previously and certainly far less than I do for one (and I'll wager no more than most of you do).

Do you fellows pretend that you eat the equivalent of less than 4 sloppy joes for a normal dinner?  Or that such a diet is normal for adult males?

I just had dinner with four other gentlemen, three whites and one Asian, between the ages of 31 and 54, none of whom are as fat as me and I'm merely slightly overweight, and we all ate quite a generous sufficiency:  We each had one plate of rice with a spicy stir fry of either beef or chicken with herbs/peppers/veg on it, accompanied by a large shared sea-food/mushroom soup (a kind of spicy tom-yum) in the middle of the table and an enormous omelet with minced pork inside.  Some even had extra rice from a plate so provided, though I did not (not a fan of carbs).

This is just a normal dinner for us, and it seems to me it is probably at least the equivalent of four little sloppy joes.

That's a good sized meal Opie, but you probably still ingested far less fat and sugar than Bushie did.

Forgot to mention 3 of us had Cokes, (the other two only water)... and we also had cappuccinos with a very small amount of Thai sweet later at a coffee shop.

...while praying that the Blessed Lord comes to destroy us all for our sins...

I have to say I have a deep sympathy for anyone who dreams impotently of the destruction of others.

Porn and Ameriplan are bare necessities?  Come on... quit your trolling.  It's perfectly realistic for him to not rip off his parents.

Those items are very small amounts of money and neither they nor his food and gasoline are significant contributors to the family's poverty.  That of course, is caused by their class position and resulting low income: i.e., it is not Bushies fault nor their own.

Do most oklahomans share bushie's hatred of walking?

Most Americans do - where are you from WM?  Don't you know this?
