Emily Cole, a 23-year-old college student who participated in the survey, said that although she's more conservative than Obama on economic policies, she still plans to vote for him.

Obama's supportive stance on abortion rights, same-sex marriage and other "civil rights" matters, Cole said, are more important than monetary policy.

"Definitely for my generation, that's a big concern," the Virginia Beach resident said. "We're not willing to compromise on that."

^Typical unintelligent young voter.  It's so sad

In what way, buddy? She's not wrong about Obama, except for the part about her being more economically conservative than him (he's very economically conservative).

Maybe not unintelligent. But possibly misguided. I bet she'll change her mind once she's spent some more time in the working world.

Spending time in the working world is precisely what turned me into a socialist, Hag.  I think nowadays, given the terribly low wages, lack of worker protections, and the high level of unemployment, the experience of 'the working world' will tend to make people vote Democratic, not Republican.
