Jesus Christ, I got like 50 reports from that thread (exaggerating a little), calm down people. I deleted the "kill missionaries" posts as trolling/hyperbole but didn't infract because they clearly weren't serious

My comments were in favor of cultural self-defense.  Of course that does involve killing.

You know, I'm tired of all these excuses for opebo's trolling about how he's not serious. If our moderators were doing what is expected of them, opebo would have been banned long ago.

Correct my Stalwart!  And now would you please repost that in the Comedy Institute so that it may be preserved?  I fear that soon the Villains will remove it and place me one step closer to my grave.  

I have to admit a certain pride in my writing on that one, specifically the 'ready flammables', the 'heathen friends', and the 'deprive them of both a jolly festivity and much needed nourishment'.  Eh, what what?  (though in retrospect 'a much needed nourishment' would have been even more the mot juste!)

It's the only course of action that makes any sense.

I'm afraid I would have to refuse any honorable station that did not include in the title the term 'potentate' (or at the very least plenipotentiary).  Does the title bestowed for the position of 'Moderator' include this term?

It wasn't a joke, and even if it were one, it still has no place on the Atlas forum.

Its not trolling Offie, it is educational, as well as just plain effective communication.  You see, when the reader is guffawing, the oxygen permeates his brain-cells, and he gets the point without having it belaboured to him in tiresome fashion.

Here's a test for you - a standard to which you can aspire:  never make a post unless you're sure that someone, perhaps many, will enjoy reading it.  Do any of your posts meet that standard?  Many of mine to.. I like to think the majority.

Boiling leftists in pots doesn't make any sense as a joke though.

Its a bit less funny given that leftists actually have a history of being murdered.  The boiling was really quite a rarity - most missionaries got away with their crimes.
