I'm hearing two rumors right now. One is that a person has been shot in the Capitol building. The other is that even the Tea Party representatives are saying Trump should be impeached for inciting this.

The first has been bouncing around twitter and a number of the networks as well. McCarthy has confirmed that shots have been fired and people have been hurt.

I think it's more likely that they are simply trying to avoid the optics of a bloodbath in the Capitol. I understand the logic of it, but I don't agree with it.

I mean, the fact that they're taking selfies with the mob suggests it goes a touch further than that.
