you know, I don't understand why some of these ppl r targeting private property.

I get targeting government stuff. Honestly the gov deserves it both for the racial injustice and for forcing quarantine (and therefore recession, which they knew would harm economically at risk groups like minorities and the young disproportionately) upon us. The gov clearly does not serve the ppl. So idgaf about gov stuff getting burned.

But wtf did some random dude who owns a restaurant or bar ever do to u, u know what I mean?

who even gives a sh**t what race any of the people doing looting or whatever are.

like, bad ppl r bad ppl and good ppl r good ppl. idc what color u r.

the way i see it

peaceful protesters = good, because what happened was f'ed up
rioters who r destroying gov stuff = good bcuz the gov is responsible for all the bad stuff that has happened
rioters who r destroying random ppl's private property = bad because wtf did they ever do to u.

You know, up until the last 3 or 4 months, I wouldn't have told you I thought America would be in any better of a position than it was at the time if Hillary Clinton had been President.

Sure, I opposed Trump because I hated what he had done to the Republican party that I once supported.

But I didn't actually think America would be any better of a place with President Hillary Clinton. Not any worse either, just basically the same.

But since, like the end of February, I've come to realize that Trump is actually really inept, incompetent, and weak.

I always kind of assumed he was just leading America on autopilot from the stuff Obama did to get a lot of stuff on the right track (I know I'm very anti-gov but damn were things good at the end of Obama's second term) but I thought Clinton would have done the same thing.

But then all this stuff happens and you realize, well sh**t this is what happens when you elect somebody who can only coast on the achievements of his predecessors. When sh**t hits the fan, he messes everything up.

If I could revote the 2016 election I think I actually would have voted for Clinton instead of McMullin, because damn I really do feel like things would be better these days under President Clinton.

I really do think more people are starting to realize this too. That Trump is just incompetent and the fact things were really good (at least on the economic front) for the first few years of his term was really just the way Obama set him up pretty well coming in. But then these crises happen, and you realize, damn he really don't know what he's doing at all. Which I think most people always knew, but when it happens you really just realize how dangerous it is.

I don't take this tweet at face value, but it's hard to look at the facial expressions and body language coming from administration officials without concluding that something is up. They can't conceal their stress levels.

they need to declare Trump like, metnally out there and put Pence in. At least Pence has some sense, Trump just seems like he's losing it.

My home city of Colorado Springs will be going under a citywide curfew tonight, beginning at 10:00 PM: https://krdo.com/news/2020/06/03/protesters-prepare-for-start-of-overnight-curfew-wednesday-in-colorado-springs/. It's crazy how cities across the country, even those which you wouldn't expect (such as mines), are reacting to the protests in this way. It makes little difference anyhow, since we know from what has happened that criminals do not honor curfews.

curfuws r just the man trying to shut the ppl down.

this whole thing, u know, it's not black vs white. it is big corrupt gov vs We the People

sadly a lot of sheeple don't realize that

As I said, I don't understand why Mayors are resorting to curfews, given that they don't seem to be that effective in forestalling violence. But I can understand the constitutional arguments against them as well. Curfews were once routinely imposed by local governments to keep blacks, Asians, younger people, and other minorities off the streets after a certain hour, and were a major component of Black Codes/Jim Crow laws.

curfuws r literally just modern sundown towns brah

What does "defund the police" mean? Private security firms? vigilantism? unaccountable militia?

lmao no cap private police would actually slap. then they have to be re-voted in every so often just like normal officials and if another company can do it better, cheaper, or less brutally then they can get elected.

privatize everything 2k20!

do u guys remember back in summer 2012 when Obama tanked the economy, didn't give a sh**t about Russia putting bounties on American soldiers, threatened to turn the military on the American people, and erected barricades around the White House making everybody feel like we live in Nicaragua or the Congo or some sh**t?

Me either.
