I think whoever the senate nom is will be helped by it falling on a statewide year. Cooper and Co should be able to lift a lot of boats imo.

Tillis is one of seven senators who went on record saying they won’t remove Trump no matter what. He’s the only one who’s from a competitive state to do so. I guess his team is more worried about the primary at this point.

Almost definitely not. The reason Burr's getting investigated so thoroughly (and eventually indicted, in all likelihood) is because he was a disloyal soldier for the GOP during Senate Intel's investigation into Russia's attack on the 2016 election. It doesn't benefit Trump to investigate or prosecute Loeffler.
