There are many reasons, but two aspects of Obamacare are particularly egregious. First is the remarkable violation of personal freedom that is the individual mandate. Government should not be FORCING people to purchase a (low-quality with ever-increasing premiums) healthcare plan or face a penalty. As Ted Cruz put it "If Obamacare was so great, you wouldn't need a law to make people buy it."

Second is the employer mandate. The mandate forcing employers (with 50 or more full time employees) to provide health insurance for their workers is a death knell to many small businesses with razor thin profit margins, and has encouraged them to cut back on either working hours or number of employees in order to stay below the 50 full-time employee threshold.

The law is a disaster that hurts people it's meant to help.
