Not sure. What effect did Lieberman have in Pennsylvania?

Gore blew it by losing three (at that time) democrat leaning states he had no business losing. Arkansas, West Virginia, and Louisiana. Tennessee was trending toward the R's, but Bill Clinton won it twice and it was Gore's home state. Missouri was a swing state then as well.

Gore's problem was the Second Amendment.
