Here’s more Biden talking to Al Sharpton about 2020:

Biden still sounds shaken by his son’s death, and seems to suggest that that’s what’s still holding him back emotionally from being able to commit to a presidential run.  On a 2020 decision timeline, he says:

Does anyone else feel Biden is looking for reasons not to run rather than to run? i think he's gonna pass and assume the elderly statesman role

In this interview, O'Malley says that he'll "probably" decide on whether to run for president again "after the midterms".  (as if he hasn't already decided)

he really needs a another job in politics; run for a house seat or something

I'm surprised people are taking Buttigieg and Landrieu seriously. I think NYC/LA mayors are somewhat acceptable Presidential candidates because their cities are larger than many states but South Bend and New Orleans?

Depends on what you mean by "people taking them seriously".  I think Obama simply might be willing to meet with any (non-crazy or scandal-tarred) Democratic politicians who are thinking of running in 2020.  Buttigieg and Landrieu seem to be thinking about running, so if they want to meet with Obama, he'll do it, even if he or others don't give them much chance of winning.

they're 'running' for cabinet positions really

I may be a Republican, but if Heinrich changes his mind and mounts a run, he might persuade me yet.

There's been news about him running?

You mean I have to wait until January to decide whether or not I can make a Biden 2020 shirt?

He's gonna say no
