For a brief moment after the first Democratic primary debate in 2019, folks on that website were obsessed with Kamala Harris and thought she was the best nominee to beat Trump
In reality, Kamala Harris being on the ticket at all resulted in a substantial uptick in Republican White Working Class turnout (there were many racist but usually not politically active people out there who hated the idea of a woman of color as President or Vice President), which then hurt Dems massively up and down the ballot. It very nearly cost Dems an election where basically all other factors pointed to a very strong win for them.
