Still absolutely no comment or action from Josh Hawley.

Other than Hawley also being a Republican this doesn't really hurt him.

However it is a benefit to McCaskill.

Hawley is the Attorney General of Missouri. He could easily be participating in this investigation. However, he has decided to pretend nothing happened.

He waited way too long to comment, attorney generals should be trying to contribute to justice, not simply commenting on justice after someone else went above responsibility, and took the lead because you were unwilling to take the initiative.

Great news that Rapin' Eric is finally out of office, even if it was amusing seeing him flounder under pressure. I don't think this has much of an effect on the Senate race, however: it's not like Greitens was going to be in office by November even if he didn't resign, and impeaching him could have scored faux bipartisanship points for the Missouri GOP.

The GOP would not have been able to gather the votes to impeach him.
