Schumer wants everything that was required for the CR to even pass the House removed.

In theory, the freedom caucus is unneeded if they make a deal with democrats. I hope Ryan realises that.

Hear me out on this. I think the Dems are going to shut down the government a second time if they don't get DACA in the 3 weeks they gave McConnell. My take is that the Ds are doing this mainly so they can get their message straight for round 2. Over the weekend Dems had conflicting messaging between "this is the GOP Shutdown" and "it's worth a shutdown to get DACA." These two claims contradict one another. In the 3 week interval, they will figure out one unifying message for the next round and go with it, while also holding McConnell to a promise that, if he breaks, will look awful for him.

In short, this isn't an attempt to posture for November. It's an attempt to posture for February while also taking CHIP off the table. This isn't over.

Pelosi is not going to get her way on this one. Trump would just veto an immigration bill he doesn't like anyway. It is tough for these folks on both sides to break the knot between the budget and immigration. It's like a moth to a flame.

I am not so sure.

After the situation where Trump signed a bill increasing sanctions against Russia, only to not actually implement it, I am starting to think that Trump does not bother reading the bills that make it to his desk at all, only that he signs it if it seems that Republicans in Congress supported it.

Or even another possibility: Trump does not understand what the veto is (he has not yet vetoed anything), and is blindly signing everything, pre-assuming that it only passed because Republicans in Congresss passed it.

I think this deal is pretty decent for a compromise.

Its not even a compromise.

Under this so called "deal", Republicans are getting almost all of what they want, and Democrats are getting none.

The huge increase in Defense Spending (the United States already spends way too much on defense) + DACA not included up front (we all know where that would go if Ryan/McConnell simply promise a vote and nothing else).

This is ridiculous. Completely unacceptable elements which show that this is just Schumer caving, and not actually a deal or compromise.
