PUP Convention August 2018 - Minneapolis, FT

Welcome PUP members to Minneapolis for our August convention! Per the bylaws this will be a minor convention. I will get things started with automatically endorsed candidates:

Lincoln Senate: Ninja0428 is endorsed.
House: Jimmy7812, Pericles, and Weatherboy1102 are endorsed.
Lincoln Assembly: JGibson is endorsed.

I'm going to give some more time for any other candidates to declare and for candidates seeking an endorsement to give a speech if they wish to.

Seeing that the combined slate of PUP/Peace candidates totals to 6, I ask for the assent of the party to allow 6 candidates to be officially endorsed. There will be 48 hours for members to vote aye or nay on the motion.

By a unanimous vote, the party approves of endorsing 6 candidates for the House of Representatives.

I believe that, given the retirement of OneJ, we should only endorse 5 house candidates. If you have an objection to this, please say so in the next 24 hours.
